On this day:

Moving on up, the Google rankings that is...

Yippee! I'm finally registered on the infamous 'Google' search engine. If one were to perform the search 'runnersblog' I come up 5th ranked site on the global listings, and 3rd ranked site on the UK listings. Thats the good news...

The bad news is if you perform a search for 'runners' + 'blog', I don't appear on the first page of either listing. Here's where you come in.

If your an expert 'web-rat' who knows a technical way around this problem, then feel free to drop me a line, either in the form of a comment or via email. I'd really appreciate it.

If you are less technically apt, but are the proud owner of a website, you can also help. Google rankings are in part related to the number of links to your site from other sites present on the net. If you appreciate what I am doing, then please feel free to put a link to my blog on your site! If you contact me, I am more than happy to reciprocate the favour (presuming you don't run some sort of porno site).

Please subscribe to my mailing list if you wish to be notified of any significant running or site updates. Don't worry, you wont get bombarded with mail every time I post, and I certainly won't be forwarding the addresses onto any corporations.
