On this day:

ArticHeat Ice Vest has arrived!

As usual, the post was late but my ArticHeat vest has arrived from Oz! It looks pretty nice quality (wicking type material!), the charging protocol is pretty well explained (more on this later), and I cant wait to use it. However, I'm going to have to, as we aren't likely to see 70 degree temperatures in the UK for quite a while yet...

Apparantly charging the vest is pretty simple. Before first use I need to immerse in water for 15 minutes. Then before freezing it I need to immerse it in water for 5 minutes. Then after being frozen for 2 hours, it stays cool for up to 2 hours. It can also be charged off ice-slush of EXTREMELY COLD water, by immersion for 30 minutes, but then it will only stay cool for 15 minutes. I may invest in an electric freezer for the car off ebay, if this thing proves to be any good.
