On this day:

1:15 Steady/Hard

First run of the day, scheduled to do 2 hours, as part of my crash training for the County Half Marathon Championships & the BUSA 10K. I couldn't find a training partner for that so I ran 1:15 Steady/Hard around The Lookout at Bracknell with Robert in my NB 832 (perfect shoe, completely pain free, must buy more...). Fantastic place to run, challenging climbs, fun descents & entirely offroad. Good temperature for a change aswell, so all in all perfect running conditions for a change!
We really hacked it for the first 25 minutes, backed off for the next 15 & picked it up again for the last 15 minutes of the lap. I then ran the last 20 minutes by myself as Rob turned his ankle towards the end of the lab. Felt pretty good in all, strong & fast, could have gone longer if it hadn't have been for the time constraints, bodes well for the Bracknell, also an undulating route. Hips a tiny bit sore from yesterdays hill session, as per usual!
