On this day:

6.5 Miles Steady, 43:26

I ran the Hosehill Park Lake loop this afternoon with my Old Man in my older NB 832's. I changed my running style slightly, as the persistent shin niggle is telling me I can't have the technique quite right yet (I felt rather fresh though), which was nice. Having done a little reading, I figured that my foot should be slightly less plantar flexed on landing, and that my weight should come down on the lateral edge of my feet. It appeared to work, but I will have to try it more minimal footwear to see if it is an optimal racing mechanic. The Hosehill Park Lake loop is quite pleasant. It's mostly off-road & quite undulating once you hit the park.
