On this day:

4 Miles Easy, Untimed

I ran with Rob for one lap of the Prospect Park loop in my NB RC150's. My left shin has recovered from the morning run, and I felt relatively dynamic. It's the first time I've trained in footwear quite so minimal for an easy run, and I can see the appeal! You can definitely feel what's going on in the foot strike cycle, and the lack of heel raise makes running with a forefoot strike feel very natural. Rob commented on 'the lack of noise' compared to the last time I ran with him (about 2 weeks ago). Based on how I feel right now I should be well recovered for tomorrows speedwork.
