Friday 1st July's run ( 6miles )

Easy run from Craigs using HRM again. Kept well below 160bpm for most of the run, going up to 168 on the most severe of the hills (my pulse was roughly the same as Craigs which suggests that the cough is nothing sinister).Martin e-mailed me about weight training and suggested a exercise called Turkish get-ups? Not one I've come across before, so I looked them up on the net; let just say they are considerably harder than they look. Many thanks for the tip Martin. Planning to go to the track tomorrow after work to run 4x1k (2min rec). I'm not going to worry to much about the times cause I want my chest to hold out for the session. I've e-mailed Martin to get his thoughts on having Brighton 10k as my main target race for the year. Looking forward to wiping Craig from the Reading road runners archives (Hes been there long enough. :¬}
